Quick Troubleshooting
- No notifications? iOS Settings → Notifications → LoopPets → Allow Notifications.
- Missing Apple Health data? Health → Sharing → Apps → LoopPets → enable read permissions (heart rate, steps, sleep, etc.).
- Voice input not working? Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone / Speech Recognition → enable for LoopPets.
- Audio/lofi silent? Check Silent Mode switch, volume, then force quit and relaunch the app.
- Icon/screens not updated? Delete previous TestFlight build and reinstall; iOS may cache assets.
FAQs
How do I enable Apple Health access?
Open the Apple Health app → Sharing → Apps → LoopPets and turn on read permissions for the metrics you want to see: heart rate, steps, sleep states, active energy, mindfulness minutes, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, body temperature.
How do I delete my data or account?
In the app: Settings → Delete Account & Data. Or email looppettao@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Data Deletion”.
Is LoopPets a medical device?
No. LoopPets offers general wellness support and is not a medical device or a substitute for professional care.
How do I control notifications?
iOS Settings → Notifications → LoopPets. You can enable/disable and choose styles. Inside the app, you can also turn off gentle check‑in reminders.
What if I don’t want to use voice input?
Voice is optional. You can type your check‑ins and journal entries anytime.
